ituated in the heart of the beautiful TAS valley, you are assured a warm welcome at this small family run site in rural Norfolk. This three quarter acre level site caters for up to 5 tourers / motorhomes. All pitches have electric hook-ups and are well spaced with toilet and shower facilities close by.
From the site location at Forncett St Peter, there are wealth of attractions just a short drive away, for those who wish to go exploring. The historic City of Norwich, with its bustling shopping centres, Norman Castle, riverside pubs and restaurants is only 12 miles away. For those who like the quieter life, the small picturesque market towns of Diss, Wymondham, and Harleston are just 8 miles away. For the nature lover, we are only 30 miles from Thetford Forest, and 40 minutes from the Norfolk Broads where you might like to hire a boat for the day. Forncett St Peter is situated 2 miles off the A140 at Long Stratton Approx 8 miles from Norwich

Facilities
All pitches are well spaced in a level area, and benefit from electric hook-ups. Mains water and chemical disposal facilities are available from a central point.
Toilet and shower facilities are available on site
Even if you don't have a dog, a walk in the country is a great way to refresh the mind and soul. 150 yrds from the site is access to the Tas Valley Walk at Forncett St Peter, the Tas Valley Way - with a few diversions - leads you on a remarkable journey to sixteen churches in sixteen villages and towns, scattered amongst the unspoilt countryside of South Norfolk. Each church reveals something of the individual local character - of the countryside, the people, and the history of the settlements.. For those less adventurous there a are beautifull countryside walks from 1 - 4 miles.
Indoor Heated Swimming Pool on site there is a 30' x 15' heated pool Half hour each day inclusive additional time @ £15.00 per hour up-to 8 people

Local Ammenities The village of Long Stratton is approx 2 miles away and is adequately provided with various retail outlets. These include a Co-op and two convenience stores, Chinese and Indian takeaway, a popular fish and chip shop, bank, post office, library and 24hr filling station.
Local Transport There are regular buses running to Norwich and Diss hourly, the bus stop is 300 yrds from the caravan park.
Great Days Out
Forncett Industrial Steam Museum A unique collection of large industrial steam engines including one that used to open Tower Bridge. Seven of the largest engines can be seen working on steam weekends. (usually the first weekend of the month) The museum won the 1989 Steam Heritage Award.
Banham Zoo Enjoy the ultimate fun filled day out at one of the most exciting wildlife attractions in the country. Rated amongst UK's top three Zoos by WHICH? Banham Zoo is set amongst 35 acres of beautiful parkland and gardens with innovative and exciting enclosures, providing sanctuary for almost 1000 animals ranging from big cats to birds of prey and siamangs to shire horses. (Also home to a large Sunday car boot sale)
Snetterton Circuit If you like your transport a little faster, a 12 mile trip will get you to the famous Snetterton Circuit. There is 2 or 4 wheeled motor sport most weekends or, if you're feeling really adventurous, why not sign up for one of the track days held throughout the year.
Norfolk Gliding Club Up, up and away! Tibenham is the headquarters of the Norfolk Gliding Club. As well as watching these majestic aircraft you can take a trial flight, or even book a weeks flying
LOCAL FISHING
Taswood Lakes situated in the Tas Valley, near Flordon approx 3miles from the caravan park, Carp and Course fishing is available 24hrs a day in are seven well stock lakes predominant fish are specimen Carp and Tench, Roach, Chub and Bream. Low Farm, Topcroft a 3 acre lake 4 miles outside Bungay and approx 8miles from the caravan park, open from 6am - 9pm every day. No bookings needed just come and find a place at the swims. Here you will find plenty of room with 2 car parks and 50 swims containing carp, tench, Bream, Roach and Rudd (weight up to 15lb) Low Farm, Topcroft, Bungay, Suffolk. NR35 2BU.
